Managed to get to the semi final of the club matchplay but came a croper to our low handicapper(3)-who won 3&2. I played reasonably well but when your opponent shoots -4 in 7 holes from the 4th to the 10th your in trouble.
I throughly enjoyed the ompetition and beat 2 single figure golfers on the way to the semi final.
Still in the semi final of the society matchplay-hopefully i will get to the final at least.

Thats still a good achievement to get that far against that sort of quality opposition so you should be proud. Having faced a similar birdie barrage from the GM bandits in the challenge match I played I know first hand there is little you can do but stand back and admire the quality of shots.
Take heart in what you achieved and hopefully you can go one better in your society competition

Hard luck on the defeat but at least you got to the semis.
Im sure the guy that beat you will be delighted to have got through although his shotting from 4-10 was very impressive.

Never mind RGS, there's always next year. At least, one of your fellow countrymen is doing great things on the links!
