Anyone had their clubs cleaned using this method ?
Where the clubs are dipped in the tank of water and ultrasound used to dislodge the dirt.
Wondered if it was any good ? How much it cost ? Your general views on the method much appreciated.

Seen others use it but I prefer a simple nailbrush, a bit of fairy and a towel (well thats what HID uses on mine!)

I've seen it advertised in the back of the odd magazine as a "business opportunity".
Sounds like a gimmick to me - I'd definitely try it if I saw it!

I love the contradiction in your last sentence.
It's advertised as a business op in the back of most golf mags. You know the sort of thing. "Have you always wanted to be your own boss, and run a business doing something you love? We have franchise opportunities in locations all across the UK......."
Yeah, right!

had this done when I went to play in minty's charity game at The Hertfordshire. the guy was offering a discount to anybody playing in the match and offered a donation in addition.
can't remember what I paid, £4 maybe
clubs were gleaming, not a spec of dirt and the grips were terrific, nice and tacky.
it's a franchise deal if that's what your interested in

I had them done years ago, it does exactly the same as a scrubbing brush and a drop of detergent, if your clubs have ingrained marks in scratches etc, they wont shift.

had it done on our weekend away at Manor of Groves. Cost a fiver and they were sparkly and lovely and nice. Money well spent. Played like a muppet next day though.

We've got a franchisee at our club. £4 for a full set (don't be so b.. tight, give him a fiver ). Apparently does a good job. Does what it says on the tin.

Are you 'avin a giraffe?
Don't be daft. It's a proven method for cleaning jewellery and other stuff, but golf clubs? That's plain silly.
Get out a bucket/water/soapy stuff and a selection of brushes. Unless you've more money than sense.

The company arrived at our club today and it is the best £4.50 I have ever spent. I always wash my clubs after I played but they seem to have done a real deep clean and even got the rust off the shafts! The grips are tacky again and I would highly recommend doing your clubs if you get chance. It made them feel like new again!! as they are over 15 years old it was a real treat. I am looking forward to using my new clubs asap!!
