Played in a game against Lincolnshire Police Golf Society at Blankney Golf Course and won 
To be honest, I played poorly, at least I felt as though I played poorly, however I came in with 39 points.
Off the tee is the worst i've been for a number of months, I only hit 1 fairway all day  My approach shots and the par 3's were really good though and I scored nett birdies on all 4 par 3's.
I was absolutely staggered that out of 75 people not a single one came in with a really good score, the course was there for the taking after a little bit of rain. Very receptive greens and fair pin positions.
Had I been half decent off the tee i'd have come in with, I reckon, about 44 points!
Got a cracking big trophy and a brand new stand bag for the individual stableford and a dozen srixon balls for 3rd in the team event.....happy days

Well done thats good shooting,how did you find the course and the clubhouse, i played there 12 years ago and thought the clubhouse was superb, do they still have the snooker table.

The course is nice, quite long too at 6300yds off the yellows. The greens were slow though. A very good challenge to be honest.

Well done Keef, good going winning in a field of 75!
I won our society with 41 this week (but a mere 15 of us compared to yours) - only hit 2 fairways, but only just off most of the others & they were hard to see (i.e. aim at the marker post, as you couldn't see the fairway)
