Good news, their football coverage was abysmal.
Also with ESPN seemingly circling football rights, and having to create a UK channel for it, you'd imagine they'd show their golf coverage here too.
Win win imo.

setanta wasn't an add on for me it was part of XL package.
spoke to them tonight as the web link doesn't work.
they said that setanta went off at 6:15, as yet they have no idea what is going to happen but we will be kept informed - no surprise there.
until then they given me the full unregulated 10MB Broadband upgrade, at least for a while (the one we're all getting anyway is regulated). so at least it's worth a call.

Not good news for some.....especially the 200 odd people that lost their jobs !!
And i'm stuck now as i can't get Sky so Setanta was my only source of live sport - Nice one

They are still running in Ireland though I think, its only the UK arm that has gone into liquidation - so maybe they'll continue to show anything they've already paid for, and no-one else will get their hands on it

I'm currently redundant myself, wasn't aware though that peoples jobs were the topic here, it was their sports coverage, and for that, whoever picks up the slack, be it SKY or ESPN, it can only be better.
