First Sub-90 Round

Hi folks,

I feel great!!! Shot my best round ever tonight. 86 on a 69 par. 10 over to the turn with 2 6s and a 7. 7 over for the back nine also with a 7. Finished with four pars including a 3 on the final hole par 3. Drove the green for the fisrt time, its 203 yards. My first par on that hole.
I also had 32 putts and left a few out there and didnt chip well at all either. Need to work on that.

My best round was a 93 before this.

The only problem was that this was only a bounce game which included a few gimmies so I cant count it as my personal best as it wasnt a competition. I made sure I putted out the 18th as it was for my 1st par there.

When I was given my handicap of 16 in June, its now moved to 17, I was a bit annoyed as I was struggling to break 100. Now here I am with a sub 90!!!

Its a funny old game.....what will the next round be like...

Good shooting although a handicap of 16 given to you seems a little low. Who gave you that and what cards did you put in

Re: First Sub-90 Round

The reason I got 16 to start was on my final card I was 18 over par to the turn but only 2 over par for the first 8 of the back. (triple bogie on 18)to finish 5 over on back nine and they based it on that, I think. I had been struglling to brewak 100 recently.

So fingers crossed I can keep going at this.

Well played mate. Quite a milestone, I am struggling to beat 100 at the moment with my slice.

Top effort pal.

Breaking 90 is a big step. Keep a cool head and there is clearly more in the tank!!

htl,Pachesham is where I realised my riding days were over. I did a one day event and Sh*t myself over the jumps!!

Sloped off to the golf course and hit some balls, when I realised that even a shank wouldnt break your neck!!
