playing on a windy links...the result

thanks to those who gave up some advice for me...i drove really well. I only missed 4 fairways. My long irons too behaved. If you know the Leven Thistle, #15 is a par3 180ish yards...i struck a 3iron pin high and sank the putt
. That was only one of a handfull of putts i made. I couldn't get the speed of the greens at all. I 3 putted 11 greens!!! 
a really downer on what i thought was gonna be the safest part of my game. Anyhow thanks again for your input lads...

I played your course yesterday hb in the 4ball betterball open. They haven't half let the rough grow on that new 9? I thought the course was in great condition though, I think the finishing par 5 on the is a simply fantastic hole.
Glad your Leven experience was better than mine. Wind/rain in the bar after 9 holes

cool...yeah the new 9 is as penal a 9 holes as i have ever played, but it focuses the mind...the par 5 is the cowden 9th. Its a doozy! swamp 170yrds on the left and OB all down the right!
