I have tried a top flite ball I found and also got on well with it, the one with the dimple in dimple technology I think but then again I'm not sure- either way it was the softest of the top flite balls a few months back.

I'm not worrying about balls anyway at the moment- I secured myself 24 Wilson Staff TX4 Pros for Ł23.99 today which is a steal when they normally retail for about Ł28 a dozen. Normally I wouldn't touch them as they are good but not prov1 good and only a few pounds less so I would never buy these as a rule but at this price I couldn't refuse as they are still a premium range. Also on the ball front I bought 100 A Grade lake balls (not refurbished or refinished which I think is what makes the difference between a lake ball playing as it did before or not- if it has had to be refurbished then you can tell!) so that I can use my clubs wide open practice facility and stop wasting money on range balls. The only trouble is my woods are so erratic at the moment I'll be spending more time collecting than I will playing.
