Had the great pleasure today of playing Nairn Golf Club, a great links course with some of the best greens in the country. Weather was superb, wind very light and I bagged an unbelievable 5 birdies. That is my second best ever haul of birdies on any course in 22 years, ended up 3 over gross 74 which I was delighted with on a fairly tough track, second time I've played it but last time was 1996. After some abyssmal golf lately and a sharply waning enthusiasm for the game it was great to really enjoy golf for once. Might just play the medal this Sunday!
